What you need:
- An undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields;
- 5-8 years experience in a copywriter role (preferably in an advertising agency setting);
- Portfolio of creative work;
- Strong writing style;
- Ability to work independently and as part of team;
- In-depth knowledge of the creative process.
What you will do:
- Write awesome copy that’s on the same page with the brand voice;
- Produce work for a range of online and offline mediums;
- Present work internally and to clients;
- Work with creative directors, copywriters, producers, clients, and other team members in order to support the overall brand goals and objectives;
- Proactively research new creative ideas in order to keep things fresh;
- Work effectively within a cross-functional team environment and exhibit a proactive approach to problem solving within pressure sensitive environments;
- Understand the client’s motivation, needs and expectations.
