Romanian youngsters are afraid to take chances and are settling in jobs they don't love, jobs that offer them stability. Grolsch, as a proud sponsor of creative young people everywhere, wanted to prove to this audience that, if you use your creativity and are just a little brave, you can always prevail after you take a risk.
Campaign Summary
We took the pioneers of dance music, out of the spotlight for more than 10 years, and co-created their biggest comeback yet. We launched it through a documentary to get people curious about them, then we co-created a remix of their biggest hit and did a whole new video for it. The video contained subtle brand references and brand placements.
From there, the press picked it up, TV stations started to get them back in the spotlight, music stations and radio stations included them in their heavy rotation schedules and, to top it all up, they were even offered a brand new contract by one of the biggest record labels in Romania. We thus proved that creativity gets you places, no matter what, and that creative second chances do exist.
