IQads presents ADfel 9th edition, the event which brings together brands which know how to make unconventional advertising and the people of Bucharest who want something different in the heat of the summer. The event takes place during the whole week between August 18th and 24th, 2014, at Fabrica Club (address: 11 Iunie Street, no. 50). Entrance is free for the public.
Those which want to relax in the open-air club at Fabrica will enjoy creative activations which make use of the location’s potential. Brands are eager to show their fun side through happenings and a creative presence either online or offline on the terrace, in the pub, in the billiards hall or in the indoor skatepark.
As in all other editions of ADfel, cultural, educational, ecological and social organizations will benefit from the first three days of the event, the Culture Days, to unconventionally present their mission and try to make the world a better place.
The smartest ad parodies entering the Grand Spoof competition will be aired and awarded on Thursday, August 21st.
Throughout the whole event, the exhibition called ADfel Galleries will show awarded case studies of unconventional advertising from around the world.
Submission of proposals for clients, agencies and NGOs
Clients and agencies which develop creative solutions for their brands are invited to make contact with the organizing team of ADfel, to implement their ideas for the current edition. NGOs whose activity falls in the areas of culture, community, education or ecology should address [email protected] (for Voicu Dragomir, Manager of ADfel Galleries and Culture Days). The organizations should provide a brief description of their overall activity, as well as two proposals for unconventional activations during the event. Those proposals which are fun and interesting will be included in the schedule for the Culture Days.

Brief overview
ADfel organized by IQads is the only branded entertainment event in Romania, a playground for brands and agencies to explore their creativity and for the participants to make their evenings out even more thrilling. During the past 8 editions, more than 400 unconventional ideas were implemented by 100 brands and organizations.
The 8th edition of ADfel took place between August 12th and 18th, 2013, transforming an ordinary evening in the club into a memorable experience through more than 50 unconventional ideas.
Brands which have participated at ADfel 2013 were: BestJobs, Ciuc Premium, Dero, Desperados, La Festa 3 in 1, Opel, Orange, Petrom, Tomi, TUC, Wizz Air. The agencies creating and implementing the activations were: Arsenoaiei & Matasel (design for TUC), DDB Romania (design and implementation for Wizz Air), Geometry Global Romania (design and implementation for Opel ADAM), Leo Burnett (design and implementation for Petrom), Lowe & Partners (design and implementation for La Festa 3 in 1), Mercury360 (implementation for Dero), Pella Events (implementation for TUC), Publicis (design and implementation for Orange). IQads was responsible for the design and implementation for Ciuc Premium and Desperados.
