Mother New York a creat pro bono campania "Book People Unite" pentru organizatia nonprofit Reading is Fundamental, potrivit New York Times (http://nyti.ms/ILPjKu). Campania, care cuprinde executii TV, print, online si outdoor, este sustinuta de Library of Congress si de Advertising Council, care coordoneaza campaniile destinate serviciului public produse de agentii de pe Madison Avenue. De asemenea, in campanie sunt implicate companiile Curious Pictures, Creature Shop, Green Dot Films, the Mill si Search Party Music.
Muzicienii Carrie Brownstein (Wild Flag), Melanie Fiona, Jim James (My Morning Jacket), John Legend, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Nate Ruess (Fun)si actorii/muzicienii Jack Black si Jason Schwartzman au dublat vocile personajelor prezentate in clip. Spotul TV prezinta personajele Black Beauty, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Curious George, Greg din “Diary of a Wimpy Kid," Madeline, Peter Rabbit, Raggedy Ann, Very Hungry Caterpillar, capitanul Ahab, Bucle Aurii si cei trei ursi, Humpty Dumpty, Scufita Rosie, Pinocchio, cei trei purcelusi and Rip Van Winkle.
