ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The position of Media Planning & Advertising Executive is essential for the performance of marketing campaigns and for the development of media, advertising and content capacities within the Activation function, through the following components:

  • Increasing the effectiveness and quality of services in close collaboration with media agencies, ensuring the most efficient media plans, adapted both to the communication needs of the Activation brands and/or channels, as well as to the dynamism and evolution of the media landscape.
  • The development of campaigns with direct marketing messages.
  • Support in the execution of integrated campaigns to activate brands from the BAT portfolio.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Responsible for building, managing, and sustaining strong relationships with media agencies with a focus on paid media such as Outdoor Paid Media (OOH, DOOH, Special Projects & PR Stunts) and/or Digital Paid Media (traditional & programmatic display). This includes championing new projects; building the organizational network through strong project planning, taking positive steps to identify, extend network, and cultivate connections for the fulfilment and implementation of partnership activities; creating synergy by working with partners on tactics, asset delivery, content execution, and resolving issues.
  • Present critical and strategic thinking when analyzing and evaluating media partners - reporting on partner initiatives, forecasting for strategic changes and evaluating actual performance versus defined key metrics.
  • Drive activation of our consumers and other audiences through effective and innovative media partnerships. Lead discussions with potential partners, in coordination with Activation Planning & Channel teams, other relevant internal stakeholders (Brand, Procurement, Legal and External Affairs (LEX)) and define clear framework for partnership, including KPIs and SLAs, to deliver the most valuable output for our business.
  • Develop the creative assets for the digital and/or outdoor media plans with the support of partner agencies & brand team; Ensure the assets are optimized and compliant with both local laws & company standards.
  • Collaborate & partner with other members of Activation team to ensure they deliver the campaigns and capabilities needed to satisfy our overall strategy, channel programs and commercial objectives. Support other channels, such as Events or HoReCa, Marketplaces with media tactics or dedicated campaigns to boost their channel programs and objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • 3 years or more of experience in a digital marketing/activation/paid media team on agency or client side.
  • Execution & implementation expertise in digital paid media advertising, with understanding of digital and outdoor media planning and buying, including technical aspects, experience in all steps of the media planning process.
  • Solid storytelling skills and knowledge of digital, social, traditional ATL advertising content creation & deployment.
  • Knowledge of audience analytics, audience development, and the ability to understand and learn from data.
  • Driver’s license.
  • English proficiency.
  • Romanian proficiency
